A perfect entertainment weekend would take place right in New York City. It would first and foremost consist of a Broadway show. My absolute favorite show is Wicked. It is a must-see and would entertain and delight the audience. Another thing to do in the city would be to go to a comedy club. There are always wonderful acts, especially in Gotham Comedy Club. Celebrities stop by sometimes, so that is always surprising. I would stay in a boutique hotel because boutique hotels are usually different and unique. They have themes and are more fun than those generic hotels you see everywhere. If you're in NYC, why not stay in a fun place that you can't stay in anywhere else? I would also roam around Times Square. There is so much to do there that is entertaining. For example, the wax museum or Ripley's Believe It or Not are great places to check out. I would also go to many of the fun restaurants in the city. For example, Jekyll and Hyde sounds fun. Also, Mars 2112 has an alien theme that also sounds fun. I would also check out the many parties in NYC. There are parties everywhere in clubs, restaurants, and bars. During the day, I would go to Central Park. Central Park has so many activities going on everyday, especially in the summer. I could rent a rowboat, go rock climbing, visit the zoo, get myself drawn by one of the many artists, go on the hot air balloon, and check out the show that's playing in the theatre. Chelsea Pier is also beautiful. There are tons of activities to do there, but the best thing is to watch the beautiful sunset on the pier. |
